SGT Brittany Kalvig recently extended her military service another six years and one of the factors was how well her employer supports her when she’s away from her civilian job at Blackhawk Engineering.
During a recent ESGR Patriotic Employer Award presentation requested by Brittany for her supervisor Brian Fecht 
and her employer Blackhawk Engineering, LLC, she said the support she receives from Brian and everyone at the company allows her to concentrate on her military responsibilities when on duty with the Iowa Army National Guard — something that hasn’t always been the case with previous employers.
