CNC Machine Operator – 3rd Shift Only
Blackhawk Engineering, LLC is seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our growing team. In this role, you will operate conventional, special‑purpose, and CNC/NC machining centers to cut, shape, and form metal components. The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for machine operation, quality assurance, and inspection of finished parts.
Key Responsibilities:
– Load and unload workpieces using hoists and hand tools; secure parts according to documented instructions.
– Verify dimensions and alignment of finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and specialty gauges.
– Clean finished parts using industrial washing equipment; perform deburring tasks using files, die grinders, and hand grinders.
– Stack finished components on pallets or place in tubs for further processing.
Qualifications:
– Ability to read and interpret blueprints preferred.
– Prior machining or CNC experience preferred.
Schedule:
– 4‑day workweek
– 10‑hour shifts
– Monday, 7:15 p.m. – Friday, 5:15 a.m.
– 40 hours per week with the possibility of mandatory overtime
