3rd Shift CNC Maintenance Mechanic
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Maintenance Mechanic to install, maintain, and repair plant machinery, CNC equipment, building systems, and basic HVAC components to support safe and efficient operations. This role plays a vital part in ensuring maximum equipment uptime, production quality, and a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Machinery Maintenance & Repair
– Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and CNC equipment using diagrams, manuals, and technical tools.
– Inspect and test machinery using electrical and electronic diagnostic equipment.
– Identify malfunctions through observation, testing, and communication with operators or supervisors.
– Dismantle and reassemble equipment using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools.
– Inspect and measure parts using precision instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and indicators.
– Repair or replace defective components and perform functional adjustments.
– Fabricate or repair parts using lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other machine tools.
– Lubricate machinery and maintain components to ensure optimal performance.
Building & HVAC Maintenance
– Perform general building repairs and routine facility upkeep.
– Conduct basic maintenance on heating and A/C systems, including filter changes and minor adjustments.
Qualifications
– Two-year technical degree with 2–3 years of maintenance experience, or 6–8 years of related experience without a degree.
– Ability to pass a qualifying technical test.
– Strong teamwork, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
